Review

Spiral: Saw

Ninth installment of the series “Saw” with Chris Rock as the center of a whodunit, who has done it ?, in a police thriller with a vengeance key.

Fans of the series will find the expected gore-macabre shows of great puppet in an urgent narration, with regular flashbacks, within a smaller story that, basically, and between mondongos, blood and torture, denounces police corruption.

The film, with characters of little or no interest, creates trivial tensions between partners and an evolution of the plot with no room for surprises.

Hi, I’m John Burkek a New York-based writer with a deep love for film and television. At Soctex.com, I share my thoughts on everything from cult classics to the latest streaming sensations. Writing about movies and series isn’t just a hobby for me it’s a passion rooted in storytelling, emotion, and the power of visual art. I enjoy exploring the layers behind a good script, the energy of great performances, and the cultural impact of the stories we watch. Whether I’m reviewing a new release or highlighting an underrated gem, my goal is always to connect with readers who love screen entertainment as much as I do. When I’m not writing, I’m probably in a movie theater somewhere in Manhattan, diving into a new series, or planning my next feature.
